Investors should study about Commodity market..What are futures,options,swap,the difference between cash and future market etc before entering into this field.Jim rogers is bullish on the yellow metal and bearish on dollar.He said gold will reach 900$ within an year or two.

STOCKS after budget

The finance minister will present the union budget on 28 th of this month.I think the ongoing bear market is just like pre-budget dip or to be technical ,a pre-budget correction.After the budget which sectors will be benefited?Will the sensex be in green on 1st day on march?In previous years there will be a small rally just after the budget and a correction after the budget ,which will be after march 15.The Finance Ministry may offer tax incentives to banks that have not been able to take advantage of the rise in bank credit. It is likely that interest income on long-term deposits may be made tax-free. At present, interest on bank deposits is subject to TDS (tax deducted at source), and the exact quantum of tax depends on the annual income of depositors under section 80C of the Income Tax Act. This may encourage the growth of long-term deposits in the banking system and also the banking stocks.I think its good to accumulate banking stocks like sbi,bank of baroda at their dips.In power sector NTPC will be a good buy.In textile sector Aditya birla nuvo ,sangam india looks good.In telecom Bharti looks good.On long term(apporx 2-3 years)Bharti tele ventures,Bharat forge,Shoppers Stop,Orient hotels will give good profit.Some banking stocks like Syndicate bank,bank of rajasthan can be took for short-medium term trading.

Stocks for a week

Here are some good stocks which can be bought at current price and hold for a week and get out of them with good profits.IVRCL cons,Gammon , Nagarjuna constructions, Bharat forge,Alstom projects,Glaxo.There is some gain expected in sterlite also.As the budget session begins one should be very careful in investing.Its better to book par profit form your holdings and get into the good IPOs coming, which will give good returns.

Short term TIPs

Bharat forge is a good short term buy.The stock will go up on considerable amount in short term.buy HLL,Alstom projects,Dr Reddys for short and long term perspective.

STOCKS TO WATCH

Markets are seeing new highs day by day...Everyone is worried about a correction big or small which will happen very soon.I think corrections are necessary and a boon to investors.We should take a strategy on when to exit a stock.Many experts are saying that you should exit from a stock after getting 25% profit from it, and invest in some other one.I am also doing like that.I think there will be a correction a small one after the budjet and a big one during the march end .As I mentioned in my early notes gems and jewellery sector will shine in the coming quarters .One can buy Rajesh exports.vaibhav gems,classic diamonds etc which will give a good profit.Bilt(ballarpur industries) is a good short term buy.One can earn a good profit in a week or two.HLL has a good perspective,I think and is a good buy.But its time for profit booking in tea stocks like jayshree tea,williamson tea .

Another stock which is going towards the target of 700 is shoppers stop.MRO TEK,Alstrom projects,Bharat forge and Reliance infrastructure.And finally about reliance infrastructure,its short term target is 550 and 1000 in an year.

Sachi's pictures

This is sachi...and we were inside the museum (Trivandrum,Kerala) campus, last week. As it is vaccation time here there were large crowd of people to visit the zoo. Sachi became excited on seeing the animals..we took his small book which has the pictures of wildanimals and showed him.He was trilled to see them nearby. Because of the huge crowd there we couldnt see them for longtime..Sachi ran in the small roads and felldown many times.. again gotup with a smile and again runs.It was really an amazing trip.We all enjoyed it very much.There we bought Icecream,cutlets etc..Sachi gave fresh grass to Zebra which he calls"Cheeba".. But he could see Lion from a very large distance,as it was near to 2 Pm many animals were taking rest with their usual sleep.
