Mohanam is one of the popular ragas in carnatic music.It does not contains madhyamam or nishadam.Its arohana is like this S R2 G3 P D2 S and avarohana is S D2 P G3 R2 S .This is a janya raga which is derived from the 28th Mela raga Harikambhoji.Vara Veena is one of the famous geetham in this raga.
